We've walked past here many times so thought we would try it out after reading some good reviews. The first thing you see when you get in the place is the great selection of cakes spread across the bar. We had a beer and I ordered the Ploughman's lunch and it was an excellent choice. They had a good combination of ham and cheese and pickles with a beautiful sausage roll. There was so much I couldn't eat it all. They did a nice pint of IPA ale to go along with the meal. It has a nice atmosphere and staff. Well worth a visit.

5/5 would recommend to friends and family We ordered two teas, a full English and the waffles. Very efficient service, the food arrived in about 10 mins, the full English was so delicious and filling, it was 13.50 which I think was worth it. Really good cup of tea as well, I find most are rather weak, not this one. The place seems family and dog friendly, it had a nice vibe to it with open, rustic, green decor and windows looking out to a garden. One thing to consider is that some of the tables and chairs seem a little wobbly. The cafe is attached to a sports centre too, we went on a Sunday so it was quiet but just bear in mind for Saturdays and weekdays, the toilets were also nice.

Garden seating on a sunny Spring morning which was lovely. Best vegetarian breakfast I've had for a while..and at last...a chef who adds lime to avocado- delicious ! Huge breakfast but managed to finish as it was so good Also very nice, and hot , capucino

A delicious sandwich for lunch along with a taste of the soup of the day, wonderful food and a great cup of coffee too. Easy parking and nice to have the choice between inside and outside. Always attentive staff who are a credit to the restaurant.

Me and the missus popped into The Wheelbarrow in Greenbank Liverpool with our dogs for brunch—what a gem! Cozy, quirky vibe. English brekkie was ace: crispy bacon, perfect eggs, lush tea & latte - the works! Courtney was a star, sorting our requests with a big smile and helpful in every way making sure we were satisfied with everything. Can’t wait to return! Need more cake. Love me some cake.

Went here at brunch time. Lots of seats, they also have high chair for my toodler. Absolutely loved the interior design. Ordered hot chocolate and was superb. Liked the cake also.

I came here with a friend for a drink and we had a lovely time in their beautiful garden. We were served by Emily – her customer service was excellent! Her warm attitude made us feel very welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I visited this low key gem whilst with my partner walking the dogs. We stopped off for a hot drink and a bite to eat. We were looked after by Courtney who was so friendly and with her cheery disposition made us feel welcome and even the dogs got some cuddles off her. She was so helpful and recommended some items from the menu to help us decide what to eat, and the desert menu - cake was always going to win. We'd definately visit again minus the pooches.
